Kid’s Programs
Our Kids Program is currently not being offered as of 9/19/09. We plan to resume the program in late November before the Thanksgiving holiday week.
Ages 5 to 12 years old
For generations, families have made The Mauna Kea Beach Hotel their home on Hawaii's Big Island. Keiki who grow up playing in the sand at Kauna‘oa Beach return with their children and grandchildren, and lifetime friendships sometimes start here, inspired by the special setting, apart from the outside world.
Let the Keiki play together, while Mom and Dad enjoy dinner or golf with playmates of their own. Our Keiki Club is a fun way to meet new friends and learn a little about the Big Island, Hawaii's unique culture and nature at the same time, building Mauna Kea memories along with castles in the sand.
Supervised activities with experienced counselors include something different every day, from building sandcastles on the beach, to shoreline explorations of the Kohala Coast, Hawaiian arts and crafts, games and even a little bit of learning about this special place. Half-day and full-day programs with lunch available.
