The Hawaii Prince Hotel Waikiki is proud to announce the commencement of a $5 million room renovation to update and refresh its look to meet the needs of today's island visitor. The multi-million dollar room renewal includes updates to the all-oceanfront guestrooms, Prince Court and Hakone restaurants and a redesign of the waterfall along the hotel front entrance. Completion targeted for August 2011.
Local interior designer Philpotts & Associates has been commissioned to create a new softness to the guestrooms that reflect an island sense of place in tune with the contemporary architecture of the building. The multi-million dollar room renewal includes the addition of flat-screen televisions, island inspired weaves, textures and motifs with a contemporary twist, specially designed bed décor, Hawaiian kapa patterned carpeting, and new artwork. In addition, the award winning Prince Court and Hakone restaurants will be updated with new carpeting and upholstery.
The long awaited waterfall redesign at the hotel's front entrance along the Waikiki Promenade gateway will be engineered to become more ecologically-friendly, minimizing energy and water consumption while enhancing the pedestrian experience with plantings such as Plumeria, Macarthur Palms and Red Ti plants. A refined waterfall feature to amaze awaits!
